Not to be confused with the Fiat 500 Anniversario Edition hatchback released last year, the 60th Anniversary cabriolet pays tribute to the original Fiat 500 with contemporary reinterpretations of the details that made the original 'Cinquecento' a motoring icon.
The special edition Fiat 500 will stand out with a unique dual-colour body “Dolcevita” colour scheme, featuring a three-layer white for the body and pastel ivory for the bonnet and C-pillar, which are enhanced by grey and burgundy pin striping and grey fabric roof.
Other classic styling cues include a vinyl dashboard, chrome mirror caps, special 16-inch lightweight alloy wheel rims and tubed ivory leather seats with contrasting burgundy seams, which match the central part of the dashboard and bespoke car mats.
Standard features include the base 51kW/102Nm 1.2-litre engine with five-speed automated manual, leather gear knob and steering wheel, 7.0-inch touchscreen system with U-Connect infotainment and Apple Carplay/Android Auto smartphone connectivity, climate control, fog lights and rear parking sensors.
Fiat Australia head Fulvio Antonelli says the 60th Anniversary Fiat 500 “successfully interprets sixty years of automotive charm in an elegant, modern form that will resonate with Fiat aficionados.”
The Fiat 500 60th anniversary is limited to 60 unites, which are now available for sale from $28,990 through Fiat dealerships across Australia, with the first customer deliveries scheduled for March.
